Outdoor rink

After all the warm weather we had a ton of water around our adventure playground. But after the cold weather all that water froze which has made some very slippery ice to play on! We spent our morning slipping and sliding on the ice seeing how far we could slide and seeing if we could find any fish living under the ice. For some of us it took all of our balancing skills to stay standing on the ice and for others it was easy for them to stay up and not fall down all the time. But sometimes all the slipping and sliding is what makes it fun!

  1. Great pictures of Canadian children making the most of the variety of weather conditions we are blessed with. Oh how the carpet outdoors changes from day to day, which makes the outdoor classroom so much more interesting than the indoor one.
